Reel Touch Newbie having trouble getting Frog Prince machine to start up after replacing battery in main board. The machine gets through a few screens and then stalls on an Initializing screen. Any help is appreciated.

What does the lower VFD say on it?
If all you did was change the battery in the bottom mpu all you should have to do is wait for a ram error message on the lower VFD, open the main door, turn the jackpot key until the VFD instructs you to press and hold the button on the mpu for about five seconds.
Close the door and the machine should finish booting.

qbert - is the VFD the small screen next to the reels? If so, it says call attendant. Should the main door be open or closed while the machine is powering up?

Yes that's the screen.
Boot with the door closed.
When the VFD says call attendant, open the main door.
The VFD should now say RAM error. At that point do the key turn procedure above.
Keep turning until the VFD says press the white button on the CPU hold for about 5 seconds. It should say close the main door. You then should be good to go.
