I am having an issue whenever I try and add the sound board to the game board on a super stepper board on an S2000 it is causing the game to either not want to boot or sit in "please wait testing memory". Am I doing something wrong? Is there a trick to adding the sound board to the game board that I don't remember?

When you add the sound card with a sound SIMM the game has to test the SIMM card memory. It takes some time to do it and a 16MB sound SIMM will take longer than a 8MB sound SIMM. I haven't ever timed it, but probably close to a minute and then it should spin the reels and come up. Not sure why you had on that wouldn't boot at all.

What type of board is in your machine, and what do you mean by Sound board (is it just a simm or a daughter card that accomodates a simm)

Make sure the dip switches on the simm are correct should all be off
