Title: S2K Enhanced sound question

My buddy bought a triple red hot 7.

Says no enhanced sound is available.

Will this board allow for enhanced sound?

Yes the board will but I can not read that base chip. The SG chips are tournament GMEs. DSV00082 is not the right SIMM either. Look like he needs a whole software set. If that's a 180C or higher game he probably won't get any enhanced sound. It can be done with a 45 or 90C.

I strongly recommend you remove that green Varta battery at once before it destroys the board.

Can you use your fingernail and scrape some of that red adhesive sticker off the label so we can see the SB number? thanks!  :cool_thumb_up:

What is the difference between tournament chips and regular?  Higher %?

He is happy with his find,  just prefers enhanced sounds.

Tournament mode capabilities. He can have enhanced sound with SB100497 90C and a change of SG chips and a DSV00042 SIMM.
