Title: Bally 809 belly lamp florescent tube size????
Post by: Bruce G on April 22, 2024, 02:51:04 PM
Hi - does anyone know for certain the length / size tube for the F5 florescent lamps used in the belly of an 809?  I need to service a machine that is a LONG distance from my town, and I'd like to have these on hand when I go to service the machine.  Thanks in advance for any help

These are the tubes and ballast that I just replaced in my 809 and attached is a picture of the old tubes that came out.

 :thank_you:

Thank you so much for taking the time to respond

I didn't want to waste money ordering the incorrect length.

Now I can get these ordered.

the 400 parts manual says the reel tube and the belly tubes are different.

the 2200 manual also agrees ... the reel tube would be an F6TS/CW or F6TX/CW.   I dunno if both those are the same as F6T5/CW, which is the common one available these days.

Yes, the reel tube is shorter.  Thanks for your note.
