Title: Linker project display help needed
Post by: BiggerHammer on January 11, 2015, 09:01:23 PM
The project consists of a bank of 5 Sizzling 7's (S2000's) linked to one progressive. None of these 5 machines have meters/displays in the cabinet or top glass (that's the way I wanted it). There will only be an overhead meter used for displaying the progressive amount. The overhead will not need to display messages, only the progressive amount. The controller will be a con2i. My problem is with the overhead meter. I want something larger than the 2" x 15" chamII meter. Would it be possible to daisy chain 4 of the chamII meters together to make one 4" x 30"? I know that the chamII's are the same protocol as the con2i so I'm thinking it might be possible.  I also have access to several chamIII displays/drivers if that helps. I just need to end up with a meter that is approximately 4" x 30" and is compatible with the con2i. There is one on ebay but it's cham44 which is not compatible. I'm trying to achieve the look that idesign has in reply #3 of this thread. (minus the in-machine displays) http://newlifegames.net/nlg/index.php?topic=24557.0 (http://newlifegames.net/nlg/index.php?topic=24557.0)

Thanks for your help,
Brad
