I am working on a few S2000 and have an issue. Keyed with key 31 and no real issues until I came to the options menu. The menu choice exists but will not let me access the options. Any ideas?

I believe the version chip determines whether you can access the options menu and what options are available. I assume you're refering to menu 7.3? If it's not available there's nothing in there you need to set anyway

7.3 is progressive. 7.1.10 is options. The only setting is for coin in option to game only, credit only or game & credit. I wouldn't make any difference on a coinless configured machine. It would be a matter of preference on a coin in/out unit. The progressive is not available with all SG chips. 7.1.10 should be available with almost any version chip. I'm not sure about the international ones that allow fractional denoms.

Thanks for correcting me RB. Iget that option on my coin in machines and no access to that menu option other than it shows up, same as origional post. Someone had told me years ago it had to do with version chip, or my memory is failing, could be that. But it doesn't affect game play or coin options by not setting anything there. All coins go to credit and credits pay based on limit settings. Am I missing something here?

The options menu showed up after keying the machine so no issues. Thank you for your time and posts.
