need seeburg lowboy help

(1/1)

puckhead:
i have a seeburg low boy slot machine. long story, but i can coin up, pull the handle and it works. after a number of pulls, it stops working. coining up does nothing. coin accepted light doesnt light, arm lockout solenoid doesnt pull in. when it happens, there is a " variator " unit at the right rear of the reel assembly. its a double sprocket that its turned by a small motor, the turning sprockets toggle 2 micro switches. when it doesnt work, those sprockets turn constantly, as soon as the game is plugged in. when it working right, they dont constantly turn. i can also be reached at mhooker32@verizon.net

thanks
mike

The Fatman:
I hate problems like that. My suggestion is to check all connection plugs. Very possible that when it warms up, it breaks contact somewhere. Thats where I stert by checking for and loose connectors and corrosion on the pins.
