There's no way to run WAP games ever, unless you can connect to WMS's linked progressive backbone, which would be considered fraud.

And if there was anybody that could get it to work, Rick could probably figure it out.  ;)

It is literally fraud, because you are adding money to the wide area progressive without actually giving money to WMS to cover it.  You don't even want to sniff that unless you want to end up penniless on the streets after you are stuck with all the legal fees and lawsuits.

That's the reason why I wouldn't even attempt to do it.  :propeller: :propeller: :propeller: :propeller:

Thanks for the props though.

I don't recall Green Acres being a WAP. I thought it was In House progressive?
I play these at Foxwoods and Palazzo (Vegas).

Even if the game is LAP it still can't be played at home.

Not to start a war on legalities here, but aren't there comm cards laying around for these like there are for some of the IGT WAP games that can be programmed to allow for home use without actually connecting them to the existing casino network due to the lack of an internet tie? As far as legalities, simply owning or possessing the software is a crime on certain titles. Just sayin'...

It's not that simple.  WAP is more complicated than LAP but as you can see from the attached diagrams of the setup requirements, you need more than a comm card with WMS.  The overhead part with media controller is optional, and at least 2 machines are needed as well as the other hardware and software that is furnished by WMS.  If the hardware and software can be found I think a LAP setup is possible.

Thanks for the tutelage Idesign, it sure helps to understand these things when reading the topic questions. Sure not worth getting caught with any of it anyway but nice to understand it all the same

I will say just this.  I was told for many years NO one would get a wap or lap to work on wms.  I worked on another platform that is very simular -actually 3. The equipment is needed, The "test" software and all the passwords and a whole lot of know how--I have already seen this done on this platform.  This is really not the one to mess with as stated earlier you would be penny- less and need soap on the rope.  Also you do not need multiple machines to do this.  The documentation is casino install requirements. Same as all others.  I washed my hands of this.

I'm heading up to Foxwoods in a few hours. I always look forward to playing this game and the others in that series.
I love the Pancake Bonus :)  All of these have cool displays on top of the Top Boxes.
