I need help setting up a split payment on my S2000.. I know how to set it for a ticket or hand pay, and how to set the hopper for payouts.. I'd like to set the hopper to only payout a Max of 100 or 200 coins, and have the remainder go to a ticket... Is this possible? I was trying a test to do a split pay today with a Max of $10 on the hopper, but when i cashed out, it went right to a printed ticket.. What did I miss? :Scratch-Head:

Under machine options there is an option for split pay. You have to enable split pay then set the split pay limit

I did enable the split pay option, but didn't see the limit? I do have the hopper set at $10 in the limit section. I think my bill limit was 3000, and jackpot and credits were set as high as possible.

You will need to key the machine to change that setting.
The hopper limit should do what you want it to do. Remember the limits are set in dollars not coins.

Ok I did key this machine earlier. I set the hopper at $10.00 or 40 coins as a low test number. I have the Bill limit at $3000, credits and jackpot are at all nines. The split pay is set, and when I try to cash out it reads, press cash for ticket, press Max Play credits to cancel? Where did I go wrong? What is Bill limit under the limits section for? Is there a complete print out of the S2000 menu showing all the sub menus?

When I hit the cash out I get "press change for ticket plus 5 coins" "press cash for ticket only"
You need to set 3.1.7.1.2 player coin limit.
That should fix you up.
Remember like all limits there must be zero credits on the machine.

YEA.. :hail: That fixed the problem. I have 3 options in the cash out menu. New message says, press change for print ticket +40 coins.. Now I can key this machine to desired hopper payout and ticket.

Well I thought I had this problem totally solved.. :banghead: I did a second setup as Qbert suggested on Double Gold without a problem. I moved to the next machine, it doesn't have a ticket printer. So I figured no problem, should be easy :no:.. This machine is running a S+ game. I figured that I'd set the hopper to a MAX 200 payout, and hand pay the balance, because I could see someone have 500-1000 credits and hit the cash out button, heck I've done it :duh: plus I like the options that now show in the display before it starts paying.
Ok Ok I've gotten off track and long winded here.. What I'm running in to is the options of hit cash out for hand pay, or hit Max Credit to cancel? I set my hopper to 200 in the limits, but I now have different options and sub menus I'm guessing because it's a S+ game in a S2000.. All I want to do is set a Max amount of coin the hopper can payout, and hand pay the balance, with a cash out menu options..
