Title: Which Key Chip to use????????
Post by: IDOG on August 07, 2016, 08:26:50 AM
This is my first post here at NLG. I just picked up an IGT S2000 5 reel machine Double Diamond  ( this is my first electronic slot machine) at an auction :applause: and am trying to get together all the key chips needed to work on my machine. Is there a list somewhere on what key chip goes with my machine or maybe somebody that knows. The machine has a SB1000921, SG000492, VS011GX1 and DSPL0002. This site has been very helpful. Also does somebody know where I can buy a full manual for the IGT S2000?

based on the chips you have looks like you have an enhanced board on your s2000.  You will need a key 45.  A clear chip is rarely needed and sometimes you are better off just changing the individual settings than you are doing a clear and an entire setup.  But the clear you would need is IVC224 if it ever comes to actually needed a full clear.

I do have the enhanced mpu, thanks for the help. Is it better to look for an OEM key 45 or are the copies ok?

Hey IDOG, welcome to NLG. As far as manuals, for a small one time donation, you get 30 days access to virtually all of NLG. This includes the download section which has a lot of info for the S2000. You can run off what you want and have 30 days to do it. It'll be the best $10 you've spent in a long time. Might be something to think about.

We can't advocate using copied software here on the site, but I've been told non-origionals work fine. Contact one of the vendors onnthe homepage for those chips or possibly member RB through a personal message
