Title: replace mpu 504 with 501?

Hi,

I wanted to try out this spare mpu I have its a 75510501. I placed my sb, gme and version chips as well as the sound card on it and put it in my s2000. right away when powering it on all the LEDs on the mpu turn on and nothing happens at all.

Could one explain why this might happen and are there any issues when using a 501 instead of 504?

Is it a vision or reel touch just a standard s2000?
Is the coin battery good?
No issues with 501 other than the hum coming from the speakers.

yes standard s2000, i'll recheck the battery.
