Title: S2000 Game kit ideas
Post by: kolby2004 on March 26, 2017, 03:30:47 PM
I have had my S2000 machine for just over a year now.  I am looking for ideas on what game I should switch to.  I currently have Triple Diamond 9 line.  I am thinking I want to go to a single pay line game, maybe a larger multiplier game.  Am wanting my hits to be more rare and larger.  I just upped my denom from nickels to quarters.  I like that better so I am thinking leaving it quarters.  What is your suggestions or some of your favorite titles?  Also, My machine is a round top with a progressive. So when I figure it out, i guess i will have to find the top glass with progressive window in it.

I think the largest multiplier is 12x Pay.  A pair of 12x pay symbols pays 144x winning line.

One of my favorite themes in the S2000 is a game called 100 or nothing.  You bet a credit, and you spin for 3 sevens (all the symbols are red 7's)  You are either going to hit 100 or get nothing at all.  The game is setup to pay every 102 spins or so depending on your paytable.  I loved playing the game on the casinos and now I play it at home all the time.  It is a 1 coin game.

I looked up the 100 or nothing on YouTube.  I have never seen that game.  I am considering 12 times pay. However, not sure if I will find a round top kit with a progressive window.

Triple Gold Bars is another with three triples you can get a 27 times multiplier. I also know it came with progressive window . Triple Strike is similar.

Triple Triple Diamond also 91x multiplier.

81x and that is also in my mind triple triple is always a lot of fun.  Where do people usually buy kits at a decent price?

Post a WTB and sometimes one of our sponsors will have them available for sale.  Cheapest is not always best.  You want to make sure the strips are in good shape and you get the right software.  I forgot to mention 10x pay as well with 100x max multiplier.  But I think 12x pay is the highest available.  There was a 100x pay, but it was a single symbol on the 3rd reel that would pay 100x the bet.

So far I have had a couple people contact me about having a Round top w/ progressive, single pay line Double Gold and Double Diamond games.  I am hoping someone has a higher multiplier game with progressive round top glass.

I just found this on Ebay.  Does anyone know if the black area, where the progressive is, can come off and just leave a clear glass area for my progressive to show through?

Also, If I were to get this glass does do you think someone might have the rest of the kit?

It probably will, only the seller would know for sure, but that's an expensive way to build a kit. Still need belly glass, reel glass, reel strips and software.
Have you checked with any of the vendors listed on the home page yet?

Yes, many of the vendors here on NLG have a lot of parts on hand and they know where to possibly get something when a buyer is looking for it. Just contact them with a pm, phone call or email and tell them what you are looking for.

Also, for price comparison to the items found on ebay you can check this place, they often have a variety of glass for sale, they list their glass under "Graphics":

As I am still looking for a game kit to swap into my S2000.  I was wondering, can any game be set to pay a progressive for a top prize or does the game chip have to be specific for a progressive payout?  Meaning, If I buy a game kit (Say 12 times pay game) that does not have a progressive glass in the kit..., can I set it to payout the top prize via my standalone progressive?  And will the progressive work?  Just trying to find out if the hardest part in finding a game kit to swap into my machine is just the Glass with the progressive window, or is it also require a specific Game Chip?  Sorry I am new to this, but I enjoy learning about these slots.

Some themes do not support progressive (very few do not).  If the game supports progressive, what you say is possible.  Though I have never tried running a proressive game with the meter disconnected.  i suppose you could leave it working, just hidden so you don't see it behind the glass.

You can just leave the meter unmounted in the top box and it will work.  Only problem is if you do hit the jackpot.

Well it just seems like no one has any progressive kits.  So I was just thinking to get the title I really want, maybe just get it and maybe just have the top glass custom made or something at a later time.  So how to I find out what titles support progressive, I'm wondering about 12 multiplier games and triple triple,9times, pay titles...

Typically it's just the top glass that makes it progressive.
You should be able to find them out there. You will probably going to have to get the top glass separately from the kit.

So if I get a 12 times pay game kit or a triple triple (belly glass, reel glass, strips and sb chip) I can configure it to work with my progressive?, and can just leave my existing top glass until I find the one I need? Any thing else I need? Other chips? I have key and clear chips already

Like posted before most S2000 will do progressive. No special SB is required if you have seen the game you want somewhere and it had a progressive than any non progressive version of that game can be set up as a progressive.  Hope that makes sense.

Take your time doing the switch-over, careful handling the glass, don't want any scratches or chips or cracks. Never rush something like this, enjoy your new game!
