Hi,
I'm want to buy a S2000 motherboard from IGT part #75510504. Mine is damage by the Varta battery :hissyfit:
I'm living in the Netherlands (Europe)

Do you mean the MPU or the motherboard or back plane board?
Post a good picture of the board and damaged area please.

if there's damage from the varta, I'm assuming he needs the CPU board...the 504 "flavor"....according to the part number.

Exactly what I was thinking. Still like to see a picture. I've repaired one before.

depending on how much leakage has occurred, the board might be savable.
I've seen where those Vartas really puke on those CPU boards though.

Thanks for the reply's. Below are some pictures of my board. On the second one you can see the damage that was made by the Varta battery.
I desolder the battery.
Can this board be saved ?

Is your machine using the multi media lite enhanced sound board? If not, a 502 board will probably work as well.

This is the only board I have. The soundboard is mounted in the upper cabinet.

I'd wash it and try again. Couldn't hurt...

Try cleaning it....use vinegar and water mixed 50/50
It will neutralize the acid damage.

Cleaning the board didn't work. I also get the message Netplex for second.
