The monitor has a separate glass which is the touchscreen. When I got this machine, the glass had fallen down about an inch. There is black tape around the touchscreen glass that covers the wiring. I see no mounting brackets, what is supposed to hold up the touchscreen?
Thank you

Was really hoping to see an answer to this. I have a similar issue. Oh well, I think a heat gun might do the trick. Wish me luck.

If I recall, there is a tape that is specifically (or well suited for) this application. The touch screen is essentially a static sensitive plastic film. I don’t actually know what happens if you use another type of tape. I thought there was a post about this. The tape on mine looks a lot like a duct tape sized product but it doesn’t have the thick layer of adhesive. Have you googled it?

Check out Patriot Gaming. They have 1” wide touch screen adhesive tape. Anyone else know more about this? I would hate to mis-advise.

You're right. It's a black acetate tape that is used to tape the touchscreen to the crt. It's pretty expensive for a roll of tape, but it's designed with the properties needed to do that job.
