Title: Can someone tell me where this part goes?

I have quarter and nickle coin guides like the one pictured but where exactly do you mount them? :Scratch-Head:
In the comparator, on the door somewhere, under the coin chute???

I have a nickel machine that missed about every 6th coin because it had a quarter chute installed.
Now it works great with the correct one.

I learned a lot about them converting to a $1 TOKEN. Love that CLUNK in the tray. Must have taken it apart 20 times before I got it right
