Question is?
I have a I.G.T. S-200,
I have never got this kit up & running. It's been a month.
It's a 5-Reel Double Lucky Strike R.T. Kit with 5-Reel Double Gold strips, which I can make work.
The Kit came with a SB-101022, 90 Credits. I tried the SG-363, SG-597, SG-598. None of those worked.
I purchase two more SB-101022 & they never worked.
Does anyone know what may be wrong.
Any Ideas? What S.G. Chip should I use?
I'm thinking of trying to purchase a SB-101027. This is a 180-Credit chip.??
thank you

I thought I tried the SG-523's but I haven't tried it with my newer SB-101022.
Thanks Steve for the help.

Richard bunch of questions need to be ask/
Is this a new machine to you ?
What is the machine doing?
Are you getting the SB101022 chips from the same source ? ( he maybe has a corrupt file ) The check sum is C6C4
Do you know for a fact the MPU and machine is good ??
I've never had to change a Game chip because I change a Base chip that had different credits. I wouldn't use them but Mississippi Gaming calls for SG000251 chips for this game.

The machine is somewhat new to him
I had to assemble it and test it.
We used a 3 reel base chip at first and it worked fine
It works with other 5 reel games using 597's and 598's depending on theme.
Double Diamond Free Spin Bonus AKA Double Diamond Pennies is one that worked just fine,
I think he had a Hot Peppers or Triple Double Diamond in it working fine.
He does not have access to a burner to test the chips.
Next time I go to his house I may bring back the questionable SB chips and see what they read, I do not trust it for burning any though.

OK You answered a ton of questions, we know the machine is good so it has to be software. You don't trust your burner but if you tried to burn a SB101022, you have the check sum and if the burner screws up what are you out ? Guess you would have to erase that eprom. I'm sure you have a hex editor you use, I use HxD that can be down loaded for free.
I have SB101022 and the SG000251 if you need them. I also have SB101027
I have to leave for Vegas in about a hour but will be back tomorrow night.

Use HxD as well, just I don't do much on Windows,
Every time I do it seems it wants to restart to finish updating and then I get to play the waiting game.
Ran out of chips and I keep forgetting to get an eraser or look for them at place that might have them near me.
Up until the 5 reel bug bit him and me, I have not had to worry about any chips
I will see what I find out wed after I get home from his place.
He changes games almost weekly in his other two machines.
I and his wife keep telling him to leave them alone for a while.

I would make sure the SB has the correct check sum. I know that there are some bad files floating around for the 5 reel double gold. chased that one about a year ago.

Rich Now that you said this, I know of a IGT site where you can see the check sums AND it says the check sum for a SB101022 should be 2913. I must have one of the bad files you are talking about.
