I have a MK5 with a GPT validator, I have removed the entire assembly, and installed a MEI assembly from a MK6, it is a perfect mechanical fit.
But it does not communicate with the game, it is powered up with the green LED flashing once, indicating it's waiting to be enabled by the game.
I looked at the protocol type it shows VFM4.
I do have the MK5 setup chips.
Any suggestions on what further setup steps I need to do.
