What is purpose of C35 cap used on U52 game eprom

Barry,  looks like a .1microfarad at 50volts bypass cap for the +5vdc.   I don't think this would make a huge difference in the operation of the board. I have spare boards that have acid damage if you need some, there are probably 12 + of the same caps used for the same purpose on that board.
