Title: IGT Barcrest S+ Pinball no sound during bonus game

I have an IGT Barcrest S+ PINBALL slot machine that has been in storage for about a year. When I powered it up the game sounds are fine, but when it hits the PINBALL bonus, there is no sound while the bonus game is played, just the noise when it adds the bonus credits to the machine.  Any suggestions on what I should try first? Thanks!

I'm not an expert on them, but I know the bonus game sounds are generated from the Barcrest unit in the upper box of the machine.  If memory serves, there's an audio test button there and also a volume control.

Find the volume pot  in the top bonus controls and note its setting, then rotate it back an forth to get a good connection. It may be oxidized from age or storage.

The test button just goes through the bonus sequence with no sound.  I removed the white sound card and re-seated it a few times, while cranking the volume control pot back and forth and still no sound. Should I be looking for a new sound module? Thanks
