Title: Replace button assembly - Bally 7000 Gamemaker

Hi,
               Need to replace button assembly on a 10-button deck Bally 7000 Gamemaker.  I tried light pressure on the black plastic hex collar but it will not turn.  I do not want to “snap” the assembly.  Is there a trick to do this replacement?  :Scratch-Head:    Attached is a picture of the assembly.  Ant suggestions would be appreciated.  Thanx!

The black plastic nut is a standard nut, left to loosen, right to tighten.. You might want to remove the white plastic/nylon insert that holds the bulb and button switch first.. It just snaps into the bottom of the deck button.  Then remove the nut and square spacer, then the button comes out..

I just needed a little confidence before I messed with it.
Removing the switch assembly first was the trick!
