For Sale: Bally Alpha V32 slot machine cabinet with Quick Hits Platinum header and topper and currently running Roulette. Includes working Bill validator, cash box, and untested printer.
I've had this for a couple of years. Picked up a pair in a CL deal a while back. The cash box frame was kinda beat up when I got it and it was missing some guts. I learned a bunch here on NLG and with some help and a few parts bought from members I was able to get it working. Includes cabinet, cpu, CF cards (OS, Clear, game) and it currently runs Roulette. I don't have any other games for it.
Here are the two threads about this machine from when I first got it:

I haven't been keeping up with the prices on these machines so I'm going to start by asking $1,500 now $1200. If you are interested in feel that's too high let me know and I'll consider.
Located in the Houston area. Thanks!

As much interest as there was when I got these I’m surprised this hasn’t sold yet.

I like the stand...
Where did you find it if I might ask??

I wish I knew exactly what it's original purpose was. I found it at the Salvation Army. It has a granite top and two drawers. Originally the left and right sides extended down about sixish inches. It looked like it was meant to mate on top of another piece. I very carefully cut the sides flush with the bottom so that it would rest on the floor and aside from not having an indention for your feet it makes an awesome slot stand. I'm actually not sure what I'm going to do now that I have only one slot machine since its too wide for one but was perfect for two.

Are you selling both or just the roulett? What's your best price cash will even pick it up in Houston?
-
tried to send you PM but the box is full
-
Is this still for sale?
-
Oh goodness, I didn't realize my inbox was full or that there were replies to this thread. Yes, the machine is still available (just the roulette, the other I might could be talked into selling as well). PM's responded to.

One of the local arcade guys is making a shipping run and picking up a game from me this evening. IF YOU HURRY WE MIGHT BE ABLE TO SEE IF HE HAS ROOM AND WHAT HE'D CHARGE TO SHIP THIS. I think he's only charging $150 for the arcade game so I imagine this would be similar. I checked and he said he had room from Houston the Detroit but things get tight after that. Attached is his itinerary.

I'm interested, but being that I am in Utah shipping is the sticking point...
-
I hear ya and I checked this guys route to see if he was going near Utah but he wasn’t. I’ll ask if he has any runs that way planned.

I just got an email that the gentleman who made a delivery run last week and delivered my arcade game from Houston to the buyer in Illinois safe and sound (and who is a super nice guy btw) is doing another run in about a week or two in case an interested party is on/near his route. His rates are very reasonable. Here is his current tentative route:
Texas (Austin/Houston/Austin/Dallas/San Antonio) (start route)
Lousianna
Mississippi
Alabama
Georgia
Florida (may be going further south into Florida by Bradenton, Florida)
South Carolina
North Carolina
Georgia (Atlanta area)
(maybe) Chattanooga, Tennessee
Then back through those states to Texas
Oklahoma
Texas (end route)
If you are on the route and interested let me know, we can talk, and I can put you in touch with him. I trust this guy more than some random shipping company because I know all he is shipping is items like this (arcades, pinballs, juke boxes, etc.) and I've seen how he handles them.
Thanks!
