Title: Game King 6.2 screen starting to go out.

New here! My game king's screen is starting to get a faded red vertical line down the middle of the screen. How do I go about the remedy?

Can you post a picture of the line you're talking about?

Do those colors move or stay as picture?

They stay put. First it was just the red line, then the blue light showed up a month later.

Sometimes when I power cycle it they go away just to come back again. Is it dust or a faulty wire? If so, how do I get to the location to fix it?

I’m not 100% sure what’s causing this, but it could have something to do with the power supply for the LCD. Hopefully someone else will chime in.

I just removed the monitor and took more pictures. Is the "tube" going out? Can I bring the monitor to any video repair shop?

I can't advise you on repair but depending on what you are willing to spend, you might want to consider a new Ceronix monitor. They come complete with power supply, driver boards and chassis. Mine cost $489.00

Can you connect the LCD monitor to another device, like a laptop or desktop computer, dvd player, etc? That would confirm the problem is definitely in the monitor. Wondering if the problem could be in the video card or circuit board that sends the video signal to the monitor in your machine.

The places that repair LCD tv's and monitors can probably test it for you if you want to take it in to them. Just call and ask them about it.

Thanks for the replies. I don't have the means of testing it on another device. I guess I'll try a video repair shop when I get a chance. If I have to buy a replacement, where do I find one?

Based on past experiences, I'm pretty sure you have damage to the LCD Matrix.  It is cheaper to find a good used display.  You could also replace the lcd panel itself, but that entails completely disassembly of the monitor assembly and finding the exact same lcd panel used in your monitor, then putting it all back together.  Depending on how technically inclined and daring you are, it is a cool thing to do if you like that sort of thing.  I have fixed a lot of broken laptop screens and bally monitors that way.  LCD screen damage is not something you can "fix."  The things that can be easy to fix are inverter or power issues where you have no screen, or you get a screen that says no video or the video "fllickers" (usually recapping AD board).
