Hey guys,
I have a head scratcher here. So I found a Super Sally set that I'm installing on my 044 MPU/GK Dlx board, and when I get to the end of the process, it's saying that the "Telltale battery is low." I have a brand new battery in it and I don't have this issue with any other game. My MPU doesn't have a Varta battery...only the coin battery.
Game program set is G0002495
Config program is I0001303
Video EPROM is C0001340
Sound is DSS00380
This appears to be the multi-denom set. Any ideas would be most appreciated.
Do I need an international MPU for this game? Is there a different version of the game for my MPU?
Thanks,
Jason

So it looks like I found my answer here:

This is exactly my issue. So are the Simms good, and can I get different gme/base EPROMs that work with a US MPU? Anybody have the version numbers that I’d need?

So guys, I’d appreciate a little help on this one.
The first screenshot reflects the international gameset that I started with.
RB and I looked at this and determined that the SIMM cards appeared to be the same between the international version and the US version. So I sent the 4 GME international EPROMs and the base EPROM to RB and he flashed them with the US version. The US version only has 2 GME EPROMs and the base.
The second screenshot reflects the current gameset that I have after the changes.
The problem now is that I can set the game up fine and actually play it, but the graphics are totally messed up. PXL SIMMS aren’t labeled, and I can’t figure out the right combination. Any combination that I try, results in the same messed up graphics. Sound and game play is perfect.
Thoughts?

Jason,
I'm showing the SIMM set is supposed to be C0001074 not 1340. I do show 1340 for the Int'l set. I have backups of both sets but no access to a SIMM burner.

Hey Jason,
I also have the C0001074 SIMM set for Shrimpmania.
Right to left (while holding the tray handle), the SIMMs are:
PXLF3 2 of 4
PXLF4 3 of 4
PXLF5 4 of 4
I think I have a single denomination, but I haven't key chipped it, so I'm not certain. Maybe that doesn't even matter?
Hope you get it working.

Thanks for the info guys! I actually have the US backup files for the SIMMs...I just need to track down somebody with a burner that I can send my SIMMs to.
Cheers!

All fixed now! Flashing the SIMMs... works fine.
