Title: How to calibrate a JCM intelligent style bill acceptor
Post by: br549autosales on December 10, 2018, 03:01:42 PM: Out of the blue my Denver Duck machine won't accept any bill other than 1 dollar bills. Is there a way to recalibrate it to work again? All my icons are green across the bezel except for 20, which was the last amount I put in, thank in advance

Post by: rickhunter on December 13, 2018, 08:59:09 PM: credit limit issue? Calibration is usually not the culprit for what you describe. Most of the times, it's a credit limit issue where the $1 bill is not taking the credits over the credit limit, but a larger bill does.

Post by: br549autosales on December 14, 2018, 06:44:06 AM: Yes, that's what's so odd. I changed the main battery on the board, the 2032, checked all my settings, especially the limits section. Put in a new 100 bill with the blue stripe, then a 20.00 bill & now it rejects everything except ac1 dollar bill. It has taken in a couple more 20s after several tries, but now it will only accept 1.00 bills

Post by: rickhunter on December 14, 2018, 08:32:20 AM: So which jcm validator is this? On some you can download a diagnostic program from JCM to your pc and plug the validator through USB and see what the deal is.

Post by: br549autosales on February 09, 2019, 05:28:35 PM: Back to this issue again, I just brought the machine backbinto my game room. It is flashing a red icon, the 3rd from the left & it will only take 5s & 1s. Any way to disable that part of the bill acceptor that makes it "intelligent" lol!

Post by: br549autosales on February 09, 2019, 06:30:47 PM: Ok, now I have disabled the intelligent bezel part & hooked up the standard harness that lights up the bill acceptor entrance, same thing it will only accept 5s & 1s, any ideas?

Post by: 777sizzler on February 09, 2019, 08:36:08 PM: It is more than likely in the bv that needs flashed. Try some "old money", Bills and see what happens. Also, As before mentioned Your settings have to be correct esp. for multi-denom.
