Converted a Ceronix drop in bar 1493 with touch screen into a upright.
Swapped the H and V yoke wires and flipped the touch screen, got good picture and touch calibration.
Used the black monitor tape to wrap around the touch screen to hold it in place.
The next day I found all of the black tape had released from the touch screen and the touch panel was dangling off the end of my bench and hanging on by it's wires.
The roll of tape I got was from a casino and it had been sitting around for a while but the adhesive seemed to have a strong, sticky, bond.
The same thing happened to a flat screen, the touch panel slipped to the side 1/2 inch.
WTH, where can I get a new, fresh, roll of tape?
Apparently the roll I was gifted was old and defective?
OR, is there some other procedure that needs to be performed to get this tape to stay? Heat? Cold? A prayer to the god of tape?
