I just purchase my 1st 2 slot machines from an older couple Double Diamond and Red, White and Blue. The machines stayed power down for years because they lost interest. 1st Day the red white and Blue slot battery went dead and gave a code 12. The previous owners had spare parts and another battery. I swapped out the battery and purchase the ram clear chip and BV ON/Off chip. After changing the battery, I did the ram clear follow the instructions but can't get pass error 61. I can hit the button, hold it down for a few secs and it will jump to 65-1. I have tested ever possible connection that I can think of, could it be a bad game chip or reset switch? The switch works because it jumps to 65-1, im new to slots can someone please help.

If you search error code 61 in the forum you will find a JILLION responses on the same question.
Someone will reply but I'd suggest looking at a few of those and you might find the answer. :applause:

I have read so many of them and tried most of them, but still can't get it to clear. I haven't seen a post that explains a code 61 to 65-1 when hitting the test button.

Ok just wanted to make sure.
Stand by!!! Help is on the way.

Have you tried pushing the button again while in 65-1? It should clear like that. Just to be sure, you are pushing the very small button right next to or behind the main power switch? So many push the larger white cherry switch by mistake.

That is what I have in my notes what therockinelvis said. Open door push white button should clear.

That work.... Thanks

FYI, on the front door of most S+ machines is a glued on paper explaining the codes and remedies
