Got anything on SP1100?
I am getting a 64 error code.
-
I split your post into a new topic.
I do not have any documentation for SP1100. Perhaps one of our other members does.
Error 64 on an IGT S+ is indicating a communication error between the S+ and an add-on bonus device such as a Barcrest or AC Coin top box. It means that either the communication wiring between the S+ motherboard and the top box is not connected properly, or that the top box is not communicating with the S+ game due to any number of reasons including power supply issues, software issues, dead batteries, etc.

All I got in for repair was the MPU board.
Found the SP chip was plugged in backwards.
Fortunately it was a OTP chip so putting it in the correct way got the board up to 64 code.
I could not find any data on the SP chip.
I assumed the customer had some kind of comm interface, thanks for the info.
I'll send the board and hope it comes up in their system, I only have a standard S+ board tester to evaluate with.

I uploaded it to the file section for you.
-
Thank you, got it.

Thanks for uploading that, Tilt. Looking at the PSR, that is for a Top Dollar game which would require the Barcrest MPU to talk to the S+ to get past the 64 error. It also requires a 16mhz board, which hopefully is the board type you received.

Yes, 16MHz
Fingers crossed the board works when installed.
