Title: which software drives display line

which software drives the line indicator display?
[size=78%]im working on 2,  4 reel machines, triple red hot 7 and triple stars[/size]
[/size][size=78%]one machine has one glass and display, and the other has the other glass and display[/size]


the glass/display that are stacked, do not diaplay correctly in the machine..
the staggered display works perfect with the correct glass
hope the pics show


does any of this make sense?

There's one that's called a 9-line display...I've seen them on ebay...but maybe an NLG vendor/member might have one for sale.

What exactly is your question.
The SB chip or the R board controls what goes to the displays.Typically the R boards with many lines and credits use the top set in your picture attachment.
If your asking is one game theme capable of having different SBs to be able to change which display is used the answer is no.
The only way I've seen that might get close to being able have the same theme using different displays would be like a blazing 7s that uses a standard 500 or enhanced SB vs the same game using an R board.

i believe you answered what i was asking...i am thinking that the payline glass and line display unit are wrong...they should be the like the other glass and staggered display,


i have 2 machines that use R boards, and they have the stacked line displays


i was hoping that by changing software, it would change the display type to allow me to use the stacked display and glass


i have the staggered display in my parts box, but ill have to find a new piece of glass

Damn, I was hoping same as you.  I just changed over to the stacked display type and glass for a triple double diamond FG flash board set that I'm running right now, but now I know when I switch back to a 9 line game, I'm going to have to switch back the glass and the display.  Oh well.
