Title: DBV-35-SG Bill Validator

Hi Everyone,


First post, please be gentle. :)


Just got a SG-50, which happens to have a JPM bill validator.  Model DBV-35-SG.  Does anyone know if I can use the upgrade chip from the DBV-30 in this to accept newer bills?

Looks like a DBV-30 only takes pulse and ID002 Protocols. Thee DBV-35 only has 2 ID011 versions, 3.10 and 3.20, both for use with a horizontal stacker. https://apac-en.jcmglobal.com/support/downloads/software-information/ (https://apac-en.jcmglobal.com/support/downloads/software-information/)  might help you see what you have. Will need bills prior to 1999.
