Title: Need advice to buyor not to buy?
Post by: Chris-socal on July 06, 2019, 09:05:27 AM
Hi friends, I saw this machine in person and its in really great shape.
What format is this game and is it worth it? I don’t really have room to keep it long term so I was thinking of flipping it eventually. Im not overly fond of newer machines anyway.
He is wanting to sell it and isn’t getting any bites online. He said I could have it for $400. Seems like a good price for this new of a game. It has a ticket printer but it doesn’t accept tickets in due to legal reasons.

Can I make my money back eventually?

Thoughts?

Nice S2000 there.  400 would be a safe price to pay in my opinion, you should be able to recoup that on a resale.  The printer could be set up to give and accept tickets.  The vendor here, Bettorslots, sells a TITO kit that enables your printer to run on tickets.

Thanks, I went ahead and bought it, he came down a little more. I misunderstood, it doesn’t have a printer at all, it was on one of his other machines. Personally I would rather have a 25cent machine, I probably won’t invest in a printer. I will just refill credits with the same bills.

All you need to do is get a 25 cent sticker and program the machine for a quarter.

25c per credit will make $22.50 for 1 max bet or $90 for 4 spins at max. I would leave it at 5c or you will be feeding that bill validator a lot. It obviously should not accept coins. Dropping 90 coins for 1 max bet would be ridiculous. TITO is a neat feature should you decide to get a printer. Printers are very reasonably priced & the TITO unit allows you to use the tickets over & over. No need to keep a lot of cash on hand to feed it. You will definitely want a key chip to make changes to your setup & recommend a clear chip as well. Congrats on your purchase.

By the way that 180,000 jackpot legend is for a 360C game. If yours is 90C it should be 45,000.

Oh, valid points, I never did the math!
I looked briefly at tito, the only ones listed said 3 reel. Is there one specifically for a 5 reel?
Thanks all!

I never noticed that but it should not make a difference. If in doubt shoot Jim at Bettor Slots a PM.

I have a standard TiTo unit for the S2000 in a 5 reel Double Gold and it works fine.

If the machine has coin handling you can tokenize it and make each coin worth like $25 to cover a max bet
