Title: Reset Key not working

Hi All
I have a S2000 Sizzling 7s that the reset key switch does not work. When I get to the point where I get ram error I turn the key and nothing happens. So far I have tested the wires from the switch to the backplane and it tests good.
I have also replaced the backplane and the cpu but still have the same problems.
Any ideas?

You tested the wires I'm assuming you also tested the switch itself.

Is the VFD working when you turn it on? Fixed one today doing the same thing but also had several other issues. Was getting no disp on the 7 segment, nothing on the VFD. Disconnected VFD, printer, BV same results. Reset switch wouldn't stop the alarm. Replaced the VFD controller & everything started to work including the reset switch. Don't know if your problem is related but thought I would share just in case. Good luck!

Ron, The VFD and all the displays are working, I did unplug the printer, bill validator, and lights but still have the same problem. I'm at a loss as to where to go from here!
