Title: Jennings Handle Questions
Post by: rjpohl on August 31, 2019, 12:48:17 PM
Question 1:  what operated the handle teeth in the first pic?

Question 2:  The cylinder/shock in rear does not have any resistance or push.  It doesn't help handle go up or down.

thanks

rjpohl,

The teeth in picture #1 was to keep the handle from being yanked too hard. There is a piece on the handle mech that would swing out from centrifugal force and it would catch those teeth.

On picture #2. There is a screw in the back of the pump to adjust the pressure. If this screw doesn't change the resistance, then the pump may need to be rebuilt. They used a leather washer/cup inside which may be dried or worn out.
