Hey experts. 


New owner to anyone aristocrat MK6 (I think)


It struggled to start but I've replaced the two batteries and it's starting up fine.  We don't have the keys though.  I'm wondering if I can change the reset and audit key barrels to a regular pivot rocket switch to get around not having keys.  Do you think this is possible?  The way I see it....  As long as the keys don't rely on a timing activation.... This should be fine.  Thoughts?

Where abouts are you? I probably have a spare key for an Ari. If you are not totally sure if its a mk6, post a pic of it.

The audit switch on my MK7 is a simple 3 way switch.  I was able to find keys on e-bay, but when I didn't have the keys, I just temporarily jumped the correct set of pins on the switch to enter audit mode. Aristocrat uses key 5101, if you look on e-bay for barrel key 5101 you can find them frequently.

jaycar .. I just payed 12 bucks for key switches for my mk4  .. soldered them in .. :)

I just picked up two New xcites. Got a mark 6 mvp at home so hoping they are the same key. Anyone confirm?


Can’t find those barrel keys on eBay like this but i would love a key for each machine rather than sharing
