Title: Jackpot stampede bill acceptor problems

so Im having a problem with my bill acceptor.the lights flash but it wont accept the bill.The coin slot is also not accepting coins and when coins are fed they fall straight through into the collection tray.So basically i cant play as I cannot feed bills nor coins.


What can be the problem and how can i solve these problems.Im not an electronics pro so basic knowledge if that.


the next question is on the bill acceptor there are dip switches.there is only on turn up and that is the "off" marked switch.Unit has power


In the coin acceptor is a nickel for coin sizing and the feed is aslo a nickel slot.


Is there a way to key in credits onto the machine to bypass the note feeder and coin slot as an alternative to credit up the machine.

First things first.


Did the machine work in the past?
Does it go through the boot cycle properly?
Are the reels powered (i.e. click when turned) or do they spin freely?
Is 'Insert Coin' lit?
Does it take in the bill and spit it out, or doesn't even take it in?
