Title: Super Candle!
Post by: coolwavepic on July 27, 2014, 03:39:22 PM
Here is a tip. If you have a Super Candle you can plug it into BEZEL #2 board and it will light up when the bezel does.

I got my first one from Sizzler777, he may still have some. My second one I found on Ebay that was attached to a topper and just removed it. The regular part of the candles are nice because they are LED not the incandescent and they look really sharp.

Charles, when u plug it into the bezel 2 spot, do u keep that jumper the same? Or change it to dual display?

Thanks

I did not have to change any jumper settings on my cabinet and I don't think it ever had a dual bezel. I just plugged it in and it worked. I can check when I get home if you need to know the dip switch settings. Is it not working on yours?

Just some additional info:

One thing that the bezel board does NOT recognize the Super Candle, are the newer Alpha 1 games (Emerald Falls, Wild Huskies, ect.) in the diagnosis to test the Super Candle is still grayed out, so it must be a different board. I know Cash Spin (Not an Alpha 2 game), used a Super Candle, so it must be a different board, but haven't found out what board.

I actually just swapped out a 15" top box for a 20" top box and had a problem clearing the machine...fount that the little clip jumper needed to be put on the 2 post labled for one display...not dual display......

Thanks....I actually found a super candle from a hot shot progressive.......
