Title: Zero Checking Flash freezed up on IGT Game King Plus (Trimline)

Machine: IGT Trimline

Failiure: While on the Starting Up routine, screen freezes in the part where it says “ Zero Checking Flash ” and stays like that forever.

There was no way of getting the machine to finish the start up process.

Solution: replace Battery BT1

Note: the desconection of this battery from the board carries the risk of erasing the licensing information. Proceed on your own risk!!!

Same problem with mine but a 044 board.Did the second amber LED from the test switch go out also when it got to the "zero checking flash"?

I fixed mine the same way by replacing the battery also.The weird thing about mine was the battery was reading 3.5 volts.

Having the same problem and in addition, when it does start up after a few tries, the screen position moved to the left a few inches and I have to reset the screen settings.
Will try replacing the battery.  Mine reads full voltage as well.  Thanks!!

Hey guys,


I used to fix these problems by replacing the battery, but now i have an IGT iGame machine which is stuck on Zero checking flash, the second amber led from the right is dead. I replaced both batteries. What could be causing this?

Bad flash board.  Sometimes reflashing it works, but it has been my experience that most of the time, flash board has gone bad.

Hey man, sorry for the late reply, not much online lately. Anyways iInotice I made a mistake in my previous post - the second amber LED from the LEFT is off. I've replaced the machine since I couldn't get it to work, but if anyone has any other solution it'd be highly appreciated as I intend to use the machine again :)
