Title: Bill validator error

Hi gang,
Another question please. I took the money out of the "cash can" like I have several times before, and now I am getting a "Bill Validator" error.
So far I have done the following:


Reset cash can X10
Pulled out validator and cleaned it with air.
Opened and closed main door several times to clear errors.


I have notice a couple strange things.


When you boot the machine, the validator does not run during startup as it has before.
There is also a "closure B" and "Closure M" code. I think they will go away once first problem is rectified.


I went into menu and did Netplex setup, etc. and made sure it was active. Nothing seems to help.


Could the validator have just died? It does sound like it is working hard when you insert a bill (and its working)

It sounds like it died on you...RIP...You've tried everything I know to suggest. If it doesn't cycle when you do the Netplex Config, it's most likely gone. Sometimes you have to hit the Spin button twice while in the AutoConfig Netplex menu, worth a shot maybe.
