Title: reset chip for dotmation Stampede Deluxe
Post by: RonCuell on May 13, 2020, 07:38:02 PM
Need to find a reset chip .50 cent denomination for Stampede Deluxe as well as one for .25 cent Big Bank Piggy Bangin. Third would be a reset chip for Jackpot Limbo .25 cent. Thanks for any help you folks can give.

You only need the 2 reset chips...  Its just the denomination you need, all of the WMS 40x games use the same reset chips so it does not matter what game it is.  You just reset the game to whatever denomination you want.  I have the file for the .25 chip, I will have to check on the .50 chip.  Fusco has them all I believe and probably has them ready to go...

Yeah, he is defiantly "the man" when it comes to these slots.  There have been plenty of guys to precede him who held that title, but he is currently the go to guy for info on these slots.  I know quite a bit about them now, but no where near as much as him.  And a lot that I have learned, I credit to him.   :hail:

Thank you both for the kind words, but the credit goes to NLG and members that really took the time to answer my questions while I was learning to repair and build them. I am more then happy to continue their legacy and help anyone that I can. Special thanks to rokgpsman, Dale, mustangjeep, tollguy316, and Erbs for taking their time to teach and provide me with the parts needed during the early years.

Hi,New to this site, So overwhelming. Not sure how it works. I'm from the east coast and looking for help for a Jackpot Party, or Stampede machine I just got-Year 1996
The owner of this site put me on here. Can you hook me up with someone with info about this machine - it was stuck on the Jackpot mode, thought it needed just a reset-looks like more than that , when that just didn't work. I don't know what steps to take next-

If it is stuck in a handpay situation turning the jackpot reset key should get it back to working.  If it doesn't work, maybe your jackpot reset switch is not working right?  I would check the wiring to make sure it is just not disconnected.  You can also test the switch with a meter to see if it closes the switch when the key is turned (Always check these things with power off).

Is it possible that it is a power supply, I see there are 2-
The top one has 5 lights and only 2 light up?
Is there an on/off switch in the machine ?
Power off-just unplug?
what kind of meter to test the switch
Thank you
Can't find anyone in Jersey that repairs
would you know where I can purchase new power supply?

If your reset switch is working correctly the very next thing I would check is the IO board. The IO board has been known to cause a lot of very odd problems...I would trade out the IO board before you do anything else. You want to keep it simple, one small step at a time. Make sure the correct jurisdiction is on it.
