Title: BB1 Dual Screen Error Need Help!

Have this error on a Goldfish , Any one know what to do to clear it. I have never seen this before.

An extra spin button panel is required and it's not seeing the extra spin button panel.

I have that button panel, could that small board on the belly door be the problem? It is only connected by a small ribbon cable and a yellow  cable.

Where does the yellow cable go to?
If it goes to the SPN hub it will pull power from there.
If it goes to the CPU you will need to supply power to that small board on the belly door.

Just switched out the board on the belly door, now the button is lighting up but I'm still getting that error. Re seated all yellow plugs. What next?

Belly door yellow cable goes to the hub, another yellow cable from hub to backplane, hub has a connector supplying power

If you back into set up and look at the diagnostics can you see the SPN hub listed?

Its Listed. I went in there , started diagnostics and it stays on running.

Do you know what SJUR you are running?


I have seen a few SJUR's that have issues with SPN hardware.

SJUR000001-113, New Jersey.  I just got this machine, never had it working, its possible it has a different CPU than the one when it worked, that may be why it may have had a different Jurisdiction. I'm stumped. Do you think a clear and re set up would do any good?

Just tried a clear, same error. I'm done for tonite before I go bald. I'll look at it tomorrow. In the mean time any ideas?

I would try a different SJUR, maybe something like Mississippi?


I have had the same issue as you when I had a Minnesota SJUR in my machine.

Just to make sure the machine worked, I put in a game that does not require the extra button, machine worked and played fine. So then I took the SPN board off the belly door and tried it in another machine and it gave that machine the same error. Proved it to be bad. So I hope that when I acquire another one of those boards,  that may be the fix. Don't know when that will be, so in the mean time I'll just play a different game. If & when I solve this problem, I'll post. Thanks for all your insite !
