Title: IGT s2000 VARTA battery corroded.

I have a wild cherry Pie that the Varta battery is totally wasted and corrosion is beyond repair.  Can I just use any 502 board that has only the disc battery?  ???

If the old board is 50x any 50x board will work. Or if you buy the motherboard to an enhanced board you can update it. I personally prefer the 50x boards most people dont like them because the hum, but you can fix the hum by jumping some gnd points in the audio section. There should be a topic on here showing what points to jump.

The one in it now has a white sticker that ends in 502.  So it should be a 502 board.  So I can use another 502 or 504 with only one battery already?

All 500 boards will work 501 502 504 doesn’t matter. The 504 rev b boards have better grounding tho and less noise out of the peakers
