I just saw this come up for sale locally tonight. I remember reading here on the forums about some of these early ticket printer setups, First time I have ever seen one for sale. Too many projects to even consider picking it up. Just thought it was neat. If anyone here is interested it is listed in the minneapolis mn facebook marketplace for $200. Display is not working.

Doesn't appear to have a bill validator …. so it would use coins but I see no hopper.
There is a coin in, So where do the coins go ?

It does have a add on bv bolted on the upper right outside.

Interesting. If I'm reading the panel to the right of the monitor correctly it says that wins are limited to $800. I'd be interested to know what software is in there, but I'm not $200 interested.

So how funny is this. I have never seen a pe with a printer listed for sale locally before, but now i found 2 in a week. This one is even more interesting as it has 2 coin in slots?

Sure is. As such, I call complete BS on his claim that "It could be something as simple as a new battery, I just don’t know."
If a new battery was all that was needed you know full well he'd have that installed and be trying to sell the thing for $500.

Why would there be two coin slots on the button deck? :scratch-head_3: :scratch-head_2:

I remember there was guy in NJ that sold printers for mainly poker machines in the early 2000s. They were popular for game rooms that where trying to make the machine legal since they didn't payout.

I would've bought both of those in a second for $200, but there could be an issue getting it shipped across the border. I have never seen one with dual coin heads but my guess is one takes quarters and the other 50 cent or tokens. The ones here had a single coin head that accepted both quarters and dollar coins. I am curious which Multi Game chip is installed in those. I guess $800 is the maximum win allowed in the jurisdiction they came out of. The machines here were limited to $1000 max win per game meaning you could not double up a royal on max or past 4000 credits. They automatically printed a collect ticket at 5000 credits and apparently autoheld and added up instantly if you were dealt a royal. I never had the opportunity to find that one out! I have had no luck tracking down a local Players Choice machine so far. The only thing I have been able to find so far (and bought them all) are the top and bottom glasses.

I am in Calgary and have no problems bringing the machines cross border.
A69Mopar (Wayne) is based out of Toronto and imports / sells in Canada.
You can own them but can't use them for gambling here.
Its easier (non covid times) if you bring it yourself as if you get any questions you can always claim its an animated lamp (no accounting for poor taste).

That is good to know Jay, thanks for the info. I have a friend that owns a moving company so I could probably arrange something. If I could find the right person that has the original Multi Game chips from Manitoba then I should be able to convert a regular PE+ to run them provided I had the ticket printer since a regular coin hopper PE+ is not that difficult to find.
