I have a chance to go pick up a G23 IDOJ Magic Carpet Ride machine. :cool_thumb_up:
What's your thoughts on this platform...good...or junk? :fuel_on_fire:

Good machines but you need a $400 setup dongle to work on these. I have work on numerous types and I like the ability to load multiple games on them and select them directly from menus for play. Prone to heat and must be kept clean. If you are buying to resell to the public better get ready for house calls on these.

oh well...I'll probably get a dongle later on to save to my files for a back-up. :cool_thumb_up:

This is AVP video, look in that section. There are plenty of opinions on IGT AVP Video platforms. You will need an ekey 7 (or equivalent) in order to do stuff to them, costs averaging $350 or so. A diagnostic USB flash drive (prices vary but under $30 most of the time)( You will also want a show bios so you don't have to get a license dongle for each game you want to install. Other than that it is a great machine to have, though prone to misc issues from time to time (Oled button, battery issues, SAS TITO issues, OS/BIOS/GAME issues). If you saw the moderation log today, though ... it's LONG! I've spent the better part of the morning and at least an hour now in the early evening moving stuff. I'm going to add some more description words to the categories so they are more clear.
