Ok, please forgive my lack out technical savvy. I was given an older GameKing (1998) that hadn't worked in a few years. After opening it up and gently blowing any dust out and looking for any obvious damages, I plugged her in and hit the power switch. The bill validator cycled, the monitor crackled and some noise from the speakers, nothing else, no picture on monitor, no lights, nothing. After carefully taking out the boards , looking for any damages or burn marks, changing the 3.6 battery, still the same. after a week or so I took out the power box (with little holes) checked and slid back in. Yesterday took off the lid of the other "power box" which has the 120v plugged into it, no obvious damaged, replaced .
This time when I turned the machine on only the monitor crackled, no cycle of the BV, no noise from speakers. I checked the boards and Power Boxes to make sure I didnt damage them but they look ok.
So if any ITG/GK/MultiGame Genius have any ideas I would surely appreciate your time and consideration.
