On an MK6 while booting up "House of Hearts (0151351), it goes through most of the boot process before coming to an error message. I get:
Game version check. Ok
Program loading verification. Ok
Proceed start up (48)
8007214 invalid miss address
Then it starts booting over again. I don't understand this error, or what to do to fix it. Any help on this is appreciated.

That error message is coming from the base rather than the game, however 8007124 is referencing the game EPROM section. I don't have this game unfortunately so I can't look at the code position to see what's triggering the error.
Wild stab here, but maybe comms/SPC etc.? Could even just be one of the boards not quite aligned with the backplane or whatever, unless of course other games and/or setchips boot on the same machine without issue.

Thanks for the reply. Other games will boot fine on this machine. I did try a different set/clear chip set on this, and it didn't seem to work. I thought it might have been a blown chip on that pair. It read no signal on the monitor.

you could be using the wrong system version chips for that game , i would try a different set of system chips 1st

I used 1.04.16 system chips. I'll follow your advice and try 1.04.12.

The older system chips solved the odd error. That left me with a 20 line Lll Lucy that wouldn't let me clear the static ram. I tried all kinds of combinations of var and game type. It actually sets up as a 25 line game, var 99 or 1. It plays a 20 line game. This is new to me, but I sure learned a few things. Thanks for the help on this.

glad you got it running
