GOOD DAY TO ALL, I have a IGT WILD CHERRY 5 nickel slot machine and I’m trying to find out how to increase the limit of credits. I can put a $1,$5, or $10 and that’s it. I want to be able to use a $20 as well. Any help would be appreciated. I read a lot of threads on the S plus machine but nothing on the S machine.

I see it has an external BV. I'm thinking you have a S+ board in that cabinet which if it does, it is an early S+ , so S+ settings will apply. The BV may have a DBV145 or DBV 200 , which the DBV200 can be updated to accept the new $20. Please Post a picture of the inside.

Ok, I didn’t even pay attention to that. So if it’s a S+ board, I just set the parameters through the white reset switch?

One other note, I know the bill validator is working right, because when I do some tests like this, I have some older currencies that don’t have any color in them.

Yes through the white switch

Thx.

I can confirm you have an early S+ with an add-on bill validator. The S (non-plus) does not support bill validators.
Can you feed the working $10 bill in multiple times in a row and you get credits added to the meter each time? If so, you don't have a credit limit issue -- you have an issue with the bill validator not accepting the $20 bill you're using. It is possible that $20s are disabled on the validator head, or that the firmware in the validator isn't recognizing the $20 bills that you're trying.

I will double check that, Thank You.
