Hi, I am going through this machine I recently got and it accepts everything upto the new $50 bills. It will not take the new 100's. I went to the website to download / check firmware and unfortunately it won't give me access.
Does anyone here know if there's a newer firmware and does anyone have access to get that firmware for me if I need to reflash this EPROM?
Thank you!

Yes 3.80-34 or 3.83-40 will accept new $100. Is your WBA flash or eprom? I have chips if it's eprom.

V3.83-40 was the last released version for the WBA12/13. It will accept all the current bills. If you have a WBA12 then you'll have to send the transport off to someone who can flash it for you. If it's a WBA13 then you can either reprogram or replace the EPROM. The way to tell what it is is to remove the transport and flip it over. If there isn't an EPROM in a socket on the bottom it's a 12. If there is it's a 13.

Removeable EPROM. I have it out and in my burner.....if only I could find 3.80 to flash!

I have the file now. As always people are fast to help on this forum!

What's that old saying....if it ain't broke then fix it till it's broke? lol
So I erased and flashed V3.80-40 and now I get bill validator comm failure.
I confirmed the write matches the .bin file.
Am I missing something here?
I have power cycled the machine and verified everything is seated properly.
Next step for me will be erase and try V3.80-34 and if I still get the same issue go back to the original V3.75-34 and see if the problem goes away.

Update, erased then loaded V3.80-34. Cleared CRC mismatch and all works great now!
