Title: I think I bricked my Bally Wild Rose (model S63M3CT10)
Post by: bootmii on February 02, 2022, 03:06:50 PM
It said 83 F so I took out the main board and looked at it. I (think I) performed a RAM clear by holding TEST and PSEUDO COIN. Now it looks like the seven-segment display is broken too (coin is A, 8, or blank; four digit numbers are 8888, lowercase eeee, or blank). Help? :EmoticonHelp4:

You need to get a set of SAFE RAM clear chips for it.  You pull the mains out, put those in, perform the clear, then put the mains back in and set the machine back up.  It's not "bricked" ha ha.

Can you post a picture of your machine? If the board is not seated properly you will get that info on the display.

Isn't "bricked" slang for being locked out of a cellphone??  :rotfl:

Yeah, or a router, or any other device that you can load firmware through a menu.  It's bricked when something goes wrong in that process (or you loaded the wrong firmware) and the device is non responsive & will not boot to a recovery mode either.
