I am looking for a IGT S2000 base stepper chip # R0000298. It's for a Double Diamond 3x 4x 5x Times Pay (5 reel, 40 lines). I want to build this machine and I have everything but the base chip. Thank you for your help.

If you need an "R" base chip, you also need to have the flashboard to go with it, do you have the flashboard? Also you need an enhanced mpu in order to use a flashboard, which also requires a different backplane.

That is going to use an Rboard that attaches to the enhanced 1270 MPU.

I have the R0000298, but as the others stated, please make sure that you have the Enhanced CPU.
