Title: Slot Machine Reproduction Myth
Post by: Tater on September 26, 2022, 12:13:28 PM
I did not fully understand the "Slot Machine Reproduction Myth" I was sure it was just that.

Here is my first acquisition a Triple Double Wild Cherry (see pic 1).

Still on the pallet, I received just over a week ago.  Very Clean, shopped, unfortunately stripped of everything except free play, I will be tending to that soon.
There was a problem with the MPU after shipping, they have corrected, and should arrive tomorrow.   :applause:

Then this weekend, this followed me home (see pic 2)

The guy that owned it knew what he had, and it recently started throwing a battery error.  He wants to downsize and move so he dropped the price, and like he said he didn't really need the money and wanted it to go to someone who would appreciate it.  Got it home, replaced the coin battery, everything works great!

Finally, here is my new step-machine (see pic 3)

My buddy who went to help me load the WT saw this and wanted it.  Made me swear to help out with it.

Who knew they could multiply so quickly! :rotfl:

I will be posting soon for requests for each machine TIA

Ron

Lucky finds! I keep waiting for an IDOJ to pop up…one that doesn’t cost a fortune.

Isn't your step machine I Dream of Jeannie.  You could always try to find a glass/strip kit to change out one of your games.

IDOJ game kits are rare, when found expect to pay $200 or more for one with decent strips and complete with chips and sound simm.  Your WT theme is also very much sought after.  I believe there were 4 variations (Cowgirl, Leather, Cigar and Devil), maybe there was another one?

You are correct on the four, mine is Leather

I’m happy for you, well deserved I’m sure. I won’t complain too much, I have had a few fairly priced machines come to me and I consider myself lucky to have access to friends like all of you and especially Badbaud at KLar who help me troubleshoot.
I’m convinced one will show up….although I would consider $200 a bargain.
