I have what I think aid a kortec monitor. I noticed on the weekend it was a bit faded but when I pushed the monitor in it harder it worked perfectly. Now the monitor displays for 4 seconds and then goes black. Any ideas for me?

Could be a crack or deteriorated solder connection on the main circuit board or neck board of the monitor. Try using a wooden dowel, or some other non-conductive device, to gently press on different areas of the boards to see if that makes the problem come and go. If so pull the monitor and do a really good visual inspection. Repair/re-solder as required.

Thanks I will give it a try re using a piece of wood to press down. I am also going to double check the pins as when it was last working it seemed a bit faded and when I pushed the monitor in it brightened up nicely. But next time I turned it on I got the display to light up but would go black in about 4 seconds. I wiggled the pins at the back and noticed one lose. I started monitor and it went 9 seconds then went black
